Required Trainings
Every ITAC student must complete a set of required trainings before participating in certain parts of the work. These trainings cover research integrity, occupational safety, and responsible use of generative AI tools. Proof of completion for each training must be uploaded to Airtable; certificates that are not on file do not count.
The trainings below gate specific activities. If you have not finished the relevant training, you may not perform the corresponding work, regardless of schedule pressure or assignment.

Responsible Conduct of Research
You may not work on client reports until you have completed RCR for Undergrads.
Safety Training (Husky SMS)
You may not participate in onsite assessments or use ITAC equipment until you have completed all four Husky SMS safety trainings.
Complete all four modules in Husky SMS:

Hearing Conservation
Artificial Intelligence
You may not use generative AI tools in any ITAC work until you have completed both Artificial Intelligence courses.
Submitting Proof of Completion
Each training issues a certificate or completion record. Upload it to Airtable as soon as you finish — do not wait to batch them. Until the certificate is on file, you are treated as not having completed the training, and the corresponding gating rule applies.
If a training platform does not issue a downloadable certificate, take a screenshot of the completion screen showing your name and the course title, and upload that.
