Advancement at ITAC is earned through demonstrated competence, not time served. This section explains how to move up and what formal recognition is available when you do.

Promotions describes the self-initiated process for advancing from Class II to Class III to Class IV, including the competency matrix your application is measured against. The DOE Certificate of Participation is the national credential issued to students who meet the Department of Energy's minimum criteria; finishing Class III lines up with eligibility.
